Purpose

FpML Jobs is an open job listing portal, allowing public postings of FpML related positions, as a way to assist those professionals looking for positions that will utilize FpML skills. Job seekers may browse and apply for any positions of interest at no charge. Job posters can reference the FAQ section for posting rates.

1. How do I post a job?

Job postings are free to post through 2008. Please make sure to include all of the information listed on the Post a Job page. Effective January 1, 2009, you must select a job posting package (Refer to FAQ #3 for the different package rates) before you can post.  You may also contact Danielle Cauthen at 212 901-6053 with any questions.

2. Why do I have to include my name and email address when submitting a posting?  Will it appear on the job posting?

This is for verifying that you have already purchased a job posting package.  Your name and email address will NOT appear on the job listing, unless you are the contact for the job posting.

3. What are the job posting rates?

The job posting rate packages are as follows, effective January 1, 2009*:

• 1 job - $100
• 5 jobs  - $300
• 6 mths unlimited - $1000 (post an unlimited amount of FpML related jobs for a 6 month time period)

*There will be NO CHARGE to post jobs through the end of 2008. Rates will be effective starting January 1, 2009.

4. How do I search and apply for a job?

Under the FpML Jobs menu click on Current Postings, where you may browse all jobs postings.  If a job posting interests you, click on the job title, and a new window will open with more information on that job posting, including contact details for applying.

5. Is there a charge to search and apply for a job?

No, the general public may browse job listings and contact for free.

6. How do I update/remove a posting?

If after posting a job, you need to change or add any information, please send an email to with your name, the job posting you’d like to change, and what the changes are.  The update will be made within 1 business day. 

If after posting a job, you would like it removed, please send an email to with your name, and the posting you would like removed.  The posting will be removed within 1 business day.  Note: Job postings are automatically removed by the FpML Jobs Administrator after 45 days

7. When do job postings expire?

Job postings will be removed after 45 days.

8. Do I need to have a MyFpML account to search for or post jobs?

No, a MyFpML account is not necessary to search for jobs or post jobs.
