Dear MWG members: This is a proposal to add partyMessageInformation as a message level extension point directly analagous to partyTradeInformation at trade level. FpML defines the extension point partyTradeInformation. This can be extended and used for proprietary information. This lives in the tradeHeader element. A picture of this is attached as TradeHeader.jpg. We need an equivalent for business process messages that exists at the message level. I propose we use the same method to provide an extension point in the MessageHeader type and it's derived types. This extension point is to be called partyMessageInformation. A picture of this is attached as MessageHeader.jpg. I also attach an example (msg 18), showing this applied to a TradeTerminationRequest message in the file msg_ex18_partyMessageInformation.xml. I have updated the schema to include this. The only file changed is fpml-msg-4-2.xsd. I have updated it based on the latest CVS entry so it can be committed directly.
