At today’s MTF meeting, I volunteered to take a stab
at different ways of summarizing the messages to provide clarity on the
relationships between them. I’ve attached a first cut. On the message list tab, I added a column for the corresponding
correction and cancellation/retraction message for each request. I’ve
filled this column with the message name if it exists, with “n/a”
if it was clear that no correction or cancellation was possible (e.g. to a
failure return or to a correction), and with “?” if I suspect that
a message may be missing or I wasn’t sure. I’ve also hidden
all of the rows with correction or cancellation messages for the moment. I’ve also added a summary cross-tab, which summarizes
request and notification messages by business event and processing stage, for
your comments. Regards, Brian |
