Can each working group please review the sections relevant to them
and mail feedback. The aim is to publish Wednesday.
Some specific questions I have:
1. Do we want a scheme attribute on for porfolioName ? FpML would
not define the scheme.
2. Do we need an Entity defined for the contents of FpML. Previously
we didn't because it only contained trade but now it contains trade,
portfolio and party. If we want an entity any suggested for the
name ? FpML_RootContents ?
3. masterConfirmation is a 'string' - do we need a scheme defined ?
4. partyContact is in buyerParty and sellerParty within the EQD
product - do we want this here or should it be added to party under
FpML ? If we do this then EQD could user buyerPartyReference and
sellerPartyReference
5. Do we want sample xml for Portfolio & Strategy ? If so does
anyone have a sample ?
Andrew Parry - can u forward to the EQD WG as I don't think I have
permissions to send.

Tony,
Attached are the files to be put on the test server in the same
format as the FpML 3.0 is currently.
The aim is to publish on Wednesday so I have dated everything as
2002-04-17
The version URIs are:
This Version: http://www.fpml.org/spec/2002/wd-fpml-3-0-2002-04-17
Latest Version: http://www.fpml.org/spec/fpml-3-0
Previous Version: http://www.fpml.org/spec/2002/wd-fpml-3-0-2002-01-
30
errata list URL: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fpml-issues/files/wd-
fpml-3-0-2002-04-17-errata.html
Andrew and Rick will need to send you zips of their examples (please
name the zips consistently with the IRD one below).
Rick - you need to recast your examples to validate against the
latest dtd. This involves moving the party elements from beneath
trade to beneath FpML
Andrew - you need to send the examples to Tony and also to produce
the examples description so that we can include it. (see the FX and
IRD examples for the format - fx-Examples.html or ird-examples.html)
The publication of this is meant to be announced on Friday so it's
pretty urgent to get this completed. Once this is on the test server
I will send a mail to the working groups for review.
Tony - don't wait for Rick and Andrew to put this on the test
server - we can just update as their docs become available.
Thanks
Steven
