an updated Word document identifying the examples, and an XML

called examples.xml that describes each of the examples in detail
(the XML
file is used to generate the documentation).
All that's left for the examples is for various individuals to
review them,
and some require another review of ensuring that all of the
appropriate
schemes are defined at the beginning of the document.
One of the examples (#6) currently doesn't validate against the DTD,
because
of how we have currently defined split settlement. I've added this
to our
Issues List.
