Obviously, some remaining bits to fill in, but the subsequent emails
will
contain the various PDF files that are created for the document. I
am not
going to send the HTML version over today because I haven't figured
out the
best way to slice this up to send via Yahoo.
As I explained on the phone, the Version 3.0 spec contains all asset
classes
(well, at the moment, that's FX and IRD, but Equity Derivatives
should be
folded in fairly soon as well). I'll be sending the following PDFs:
Product Architecture -- contains intro, scope, doc status, &
architecture sections for each asset class;
Main Component Definitions -- contains definitions for the
high-level entities (e.g., trade, party)
Shared Component Definitions -- contains definitions for
entities
shared across asset classes
IRD Component Definitions -- contains definitions for the
IRD-specific entities
FX Component Definitions -- contains definitions for the FX-
specific
entities
ED Component Definitions -- doesn't exist yet, but this will
contain
the Equity Deriv-specific entities
Data Dictionary -- contains the entire data dictionary (all
element
definitions)
Scheme Definitions -- contains all scheme definitions
This is based upon where we stood this morning, prior to the call.
It would be good if you could, over the next few days, begin
reviewing some
of these and let me know if there are any mistakes or areas of
confusion.
In addition, I am sending out the latest DTDs (attached to this
email).
That's plural, because they have been merged with IRD and split out
into 4
sections: main, shared, FX, and IRD (Equity Derivs will be the
5th). Open
main and the others are inherited. Again, this is based upon early
this
morning, prior to today's teleconference.
Regards,
Rick
